At KSW 64 five time world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski landed a huge knockout win over Senegalese wrestling legend Bombardier.

Thanks to their size and the striking visuals of their various face-offs, this match-up caught the attention of media around the globe as preview articles and pre-event coverage rolled in building up to their eventual collision on October 23 in Lodz, Poland.

And the fight certainly delivered as Pudzianowski sent the Senegalese giant to the canvas just eighteen seconds into the first round and sent the world of social media and journalists around the globe into a frenzy.

Mariusz Pudzianowski made his MMA debut in 2009 after a hugely successful career in strongman. To this day he still holds the record for most WSM (World’s Strongest Man) titles with five wins in total.

His success continued into his new sport of MMA where he has been victorious over UFC & Pride veterans as well as an Olympic champion, a boxing juggernaut, and even a fighter from the legendary Gracie family.

The 44-year-old is also credited with playing a major part in the growth of MMA in Europe and in particular Poland.
