KSW 51 a Huge Success

On Saturday night, November 9, KSW held their very first event in Croatia at the Arena Zagreb in the nation’s capital.

KSW 51 proved to be a massive success with well over 11,000 fans in attendance and over 80 media members from TV, print, radio, online bloggers, photographers and from over 8 different countries covering the event live in the arena.

The event also had a lot of local support during fight week including cross promotional activities world famous soccer club Dinamo Zagreb. KSW CEO Martin Lewandowski and the KSW 51 fighters were invited to the stadium for a tour and then again to the champions league match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The event received social media support from Dinamo Zagreb and then KSW owners Maciej Kawulski and Martin Lewandowski met with President of the Board Vlatka Pares for an exchange of a signed jersey, which was branded ‘KSW 15’ to celebrate KSW’s 15 year anniversary and a signed KSW 51 poster.

Also during fight week the media workouts proved to be a great success with a large number of fans and media outlets turning out at the ATT gym in Zagreb to watch the local stars of KSW 51 perform workouts and meet fans.
